I do recommend using some Sealant # AL85KV around any areas which allow access into the walls of your camping trailer. This means either holes for the mounting hardware or holes for the wiring. This helps to keep rain water out of your walls which can cause damage/mold to your walls. view full answer...
The tabs on the Camping Travel Trailer Stop, Turn, Tail and Back Up Light, # RVST56, are made of plastic so they cannot be bent. Also, they are designed to hold a license plate rather than mount the light. If the light was not mounted against a surface, like if it were stick up on a fender for example, road grime could get into the back of the light. A little silicone caulk would prevent that issue if desired. view full answer...
You absolutely can use the Furrion Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Observation Camera System w/ Side Marker Light Cameras # FCE48TASL-05 while you're camping! Just make sure that you have your cameras hooked up to a power source that can be utilized when you are disconnected from the truck as most pre-wired camera systems are tied into the reverse lights.
You can also add another camera with part # FCN48TASF if you'd like to add one over your door or another spot on your camper for more viewing... view full answer...

The purpose of turning on the running lights for your motorhome in regards to the Roadmaster InvisiBrake # RM-8700 is to charge the battery on the towed vehicle, which in your case is a 2015 Kia Soul. Other than that you can keep your running lights off and the InvisiBrake should work properly.
If you want to keep charging the battery on your Kia without turning on your running lights then you can install the Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25 on your Kia and then the Charge Line Kit # RM-156-75... view full answer...
The Light Blue/White wire on your 2012 GMC Acadia should be connected to the red wire from the Brake Controller and the function is the brake output to the trailer. The Orange wire is not used.
I have attached a helpful article that explains the wiring on 2007 to present GM SUVs you can check out. view full answer...
If you were to wire each of the tail light circuits on the 7-Way Super Sealed Connector part # 50-87-004 directly to a battery this would then illuminate the lights constantly. There is really no other option for this purpose, wiring each wire to the battery would be the only way. view full answer...
If the lights you are using have wires coming out of the back like the Optronics Camping Travel Trailer Stop, Turn, Tail and Back-Up Light, part # RVST56, then you can simply connect an extension wire like part # DW02359-1 from the ground wire on the light to the trailer frame and ground the white wire from your trailer connector to the trailer tongue.
If the lights you are using ground through the mounting hardware, then you can simply run a jumper wire from the post on the light that... view full answer...
The Bargman Tail Light # 30-92-003 has 2 wires that receiver power and 1 wire designed to be grounded. You'll need to find the tail light circuit on your Jayco Eagle and attach it to the green wire; you'll attach the brake light/turn signal wire to the black wire and then the white wire to the ground wire.
You may need to use a circuit tester like the # PTW2993 to find which wires correspond to which function.

The VueSMART RV and Trailer Backup Camera part # HM34FR is very customizable, it can be adapted to fit any application. I have attached a photo which shows a simple modification that can be made to change the style of mounting bracket. The camera can then be rotated inside said mounting bracket.
That said, I wouldn't be able to offer any advice for a specific application as this will really be up to the installer to determine compatibility. The license plate light circuit however I can... view full answer...
If you wanted to ground your accessories/lights to the trailer frame then yes you'd want to ground the battery to the trailer frame as well. This would not be an issue if you had your trailer taillights grounded to the trailer frame as well. Everything grounding to the frame would work fine together. view full answer...
I spoke with my contact at Lippert and he informed me that the lights flashing indicate the low point of the coach and that if you perform a zero point calibration you will correct that.
In the service manual you will need to follow the instructions for Homing Jacks and Zero Point Calibration on page 10. I attached a link on this page that will take you to the manual. Plus screenshots from the instructions that detail how to do the zero point calibration. view full answer...
If you are able to penetrate the frame behind the wood wall boards when installing the Erickson Horizontal E-Track # E19148 a backing plate isn't necessary. This will provide you with sufficient support, especially for lighter gear like camping supplies.
You could certainly bolt them flush to the frame if you want to instead but there's no reason these can't be mounted over the wood walls, either.
I have attached a short video review that you can check out as well. view full answer...
To install Timbren helper springs # TTRA1032 the included bolt will need to be tack welded to the top plate, the top plate then gets welded to the bottom of the frame above the leaf spring stack. The 3 lower brackets will need to be welded together to get 3 inches of space (unloaded) between the lower plate and upper frame bracket. Then the lower disc assembly gets welded to the u-bolt plate.
I have included a link to the installation instructions with more information and diagrams.

If the second wire is white it most likely is a ground wire and would just need to be run to a clean, metal surface.
However, in some situations the light will ground through the mounting bolts of the light assembly. So if the light assembly is a stop/turn and tail assembly and there are only two wires the assembly grounds through the mounting hardware and the two wires are for the stop/turn and tail light circuits.
If the light assembly only has a single intensity bulb and there are... view full answer...
That will work. you will just want to make sure you splice your backup wire into the power wire between the power switch and the lights and not before the power switch. view full answer...
A 3-wire light fixture such as the Bargman Trailer Light # 30-92-003 uses one wire for the ground connection (in this case the white wire) and two wires to deliver signal to the running light bulb (the green wire) and to the stop/turn bulb (the black wire). If your old light used a wired ground like the Optronics light, rather than a mounting stud ground, then one of those wires was ground.
Since there are no guarantees of what color wire carries a particular function on your trailer... view full answer...
Are the running lights working on the trailer currently? That's the circuit that activates the camera so that would be the first thing to check. If that circuit is working but you are not getting power to the camera still the issue would be the connection between that circuit and the power wire of the camera. I'd be shocked if this would take 5 hours to get to the bottom of... view full answer...
